My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The bright and spacious room was spotless, but it had a crappy bed and a tiny bathroom without face wash cloths, leading to discomfort. Unfortunately, the strong smell of smoke made both me and my child sick. On the upside, the location was excellent, and the hotel was conveniently located near the beach and other attractions in Malibu.
